Growing up in Oklahoma City in a family of professional musicians known locally as “The Myriads,” Monica had the privilege of experiencing firsthand how music plays a vital role in making events special.  For many years, her dad was a top-rated Elvis impersonator that performed for countless events, and her grandmother was a professional vibraphonist that graciously turned down the opportunity to tour with Gladys Knight.

Moving to Los Angeles in her teens, Monica was naturally drawn to the music scene, becoming a regular concert goer and music collector.  In her 20’s, Monica enjoyed many years singing in the Los Angeles ‘South Central Choir’ and served as a part singer for many church events.

Drawing from her musical inspirations, it was a natural progression for Monica to begin deejaying, where she loves helping create a unique and memorable experience for each event.
